About Community support

Our Goals

At Happy Me Community, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported, no matter where they come from, what language they speak, or what challenges they’ve faced.

We have supported individuals and families through some of the most difficult moments in their lives, whether by offering emotional support, practical help, interpreting services, or creating spaces for connection and healing. Through our work in communities across Greater Manchester, we are building stronger, safer, and more resilient networks of care.

Tik's lived & professional Experiences

Tik Pavion brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her role as a Community Interpreter at Happy Me Community CIC. She graduated as a pharmacist in Thailand, equipping her with a strong foundation in healthcare and patient support. Later, she expanded her professional skill set by completing a Diploma in Human Resource Management, strengthening her capacity in leadership, staff development, and organizational strategy.

Alongside her academic achievements, Tik has extensive lived experience supporting families women and children in community, virtually support and later on in refuge settings. She is a trauma-informed facilitator, DASH assessor, and experienced strategic lead for global healthcare professional engagement.

As a bilingual interpreter, Tik combines her cultural knowledge and language skills with empathy and professionalism. Her lived experience as a member of the Thai-speaking community enables her to connect authentically with service users, ensuring that vital information is understood and that individuals feel empowered to access the support they need.

Multi-cultural Support

We work closely with individuals and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds across Greater Manchester, providing culturally sensitive and language-accessible support. Our services are designed to assist those affected by domestic abuse, mental health challenges, and social isolation, ensuring that every community member feels understood, respected, and empowered to access the help they need.

We host safe, supportive spaces for Thai-speaking women to share experiences, build confidence, and take part in well-being activities. Workshops include ethical storytelling, self-care, and focus group discussions to inform better services. These sessions encourage healing, connection, and personal growth.

We deliver bilingual online sessions to raise awareness about domestic abuse, rights, and support options—helping families stay informed, protected, and empowered. Our prevention work reduces stigma, improves understanding, and encourages early intervention within the community.
